2020-2019 Crimson & Gold Dance Team Auditions have moved Online. Please note deadlines, there will be no late submissions accepted.
· Sunday, April 19th 11:59pm- Online registration due
· Monday, April 20th 12:00pm- Tryout materials released
· Tuesday, April 21st 3:00pm- Optional Coaches Q&A Session via zoom. Link will be emailed to those who registered
· April 21st-April 25th- Zoom/Facetime Interviews
· Thursday, April 30th 11:59pm- Audition videos submission due.
· Friday, May 1st- Judging Begins
· Sunday, May 10th- Team Announced

“What are your requirements?”
We do not have mandatory requirements however here is a list of suggested skills to prepare for tryouts:
· Turns: quad pirouette, turns in second, leg hold turns.
· A variety of leaps and jumps.
· Inversions: Aerial, handsprings, Kip-ups
· Flexibility and a high range of mobility
· Energized rallying and spiriting
· Engaging performance presence
“Do you compete”
Each year the team decides if they would like to compete and for the last 2 year we have traveled to UDA college nationals in Orlando FL.
“Do returners have to try out?”
Yes, everyone has to try out each season.
“Are there any height and weight requirements?”
We DO NOT have specific height and weight requirements.
“What should I wear to auditions?”
You should wear:
2-piece attire: Top: Dance/Athletic Bra Top (No Tank Tops) Bottom: Spandex Shorts
Dance shoes: jazz, pirouettes, sneakers/athletic shoes, etc…)
“How should I wear my make-up?”
Make-up should complement your natural beauty.
“How should I wear my hair?”
In a current hairstyle that compliments your features. Make sure your hair does not hide your face.
“If I am not selected as a Crimson & Gold team member will I receive my judges’ scores and comments?”
No. The judges’ sheets are not kept on file and comments about your audition will not available.
“May I try out if I have a tattoo?”
We do not have a tattoo policy.
