The Tryout Prep Clinic is designed for dancers looking to make their high school, middle school, or college team! Work with Pitt State coaches and captains to improve your sidelines, technique, and combinations—everything you need to stand out at auditions.

Finish the clinic with a Q&A session for insider tips on what it takes to make a team. Whether you’re aiming for your school’s squad or preparing for college tryouts, this is your chance to level up.

Highly recommended for anyone auditioning for the 2025-2026 season!

March 30th Open to: Middle School to College Aged Students
Time: Doors open at 12:30pm and clinic runs from 1pm to 4:00pm
Cost: $50 (Cash or Check Only)

Important Details

• Clinic will be held in the Weede athletic Building located on PSU Campus, 1701 S. Homer St. Pittsburg KS 66762

• Tryout Prep Clinic includes dance combinations in the styles required for college dance team tryouts, Game Day chant/sideline, turns combination and technical skills and tricks.

• This is a workshop atmosphere – not an evaluation. This is an opportunity for dancers interested in the program to self-evaluate themselves based on the material presented.

• Please dress appropriately in audition dance attire, hair and makeup, and bring athletic shoes and/or dance shoes. You may also bring a refillable water bottle and light snack.

• Must have a signed waiver to participate. If you participated in the Winter Clinic you do not have to compete a new waiver.
